Poetry is an infinite portal

By Diana Coatu

Poetry is an infinite portal... All the dreams and fantasies, the philosophy of life, the love and the pain, the knowledge and the mystery of existence are expressed in a way that addresses our soul and sensitivity. The great poetry has a universal character delivering brilliant insights in relation to time, space, the micro- and macrocosm, the state of the nonduality of being, the symmetry and doubling of planes. These topics have been treated extensively by ancient poets and philosophers thousands of years before the emergence of the science of quantum physics thus making them visionaries. Science and art accompany the process of knowing. The mission of poetry as quantum art lies in changing our common, everyday perception of reality and plays a central role in awakening our interest in the study and understanding of quantum physics. Metaphors, parables, verses, the dynamics and the unique rhythm of a poem therefore constitute perfect vehicles in the process of awakening the consciousness.
