In other words, we can say that empirìa and matter so deified by scientists are the perceptible part of vibrations around everything and nothing. The real is the unfolding of a metaphysical discourse, it is the Gospel that vulgar man cannot read. We have always had it before our eyes, but mental laziness makes us blind. With the good peace of atheists, things - and we too are a "thing" - obey the logic of a God that surely exists. But that God, Saint Augustine would say, is also - and entirely - within us. In the unfolding of the thought each of us - and the one God who governs everything - recreates the universe.

In the same way, in a book, in a picture, in a spectacle, the energy fields of feelings are set in motion and in their network of vibrations and relations the aesthetic universes are born and fascinate us.
