It is only in the last few years that the Cafes in Vung Tau have been serving Cappuccino’ s. Traditionally it is Vietnamese style coffee’ s: cà phê đá- black coffee with ice or cà phê sữa đá- black coffee served with sweetened milk and ice. Also, available hot.
My quest was to go and find the Holy Grail of Cappuccino somewhere in Vung Tau. Easy you say!!! Lucky you, spending your days sitting in cafes and drinking cappuccino’ s!!!!!! You may not agree with my findings, but please remember this is how I like my Cappuccino and I’ m writing the article.
I will start with the Worst Cappuccino: Highland Café. The Cappuccino comes out in a Plastic takeaway cup even if you sitting at a table with friends in their café. Was only luke warm after requesting a very hot Cappuccino. There are four Highland Cafes in Vung Tau— no need for the address as it was noisy and not comfortable. Trending place it seems for teenagers to mid thirties for the place to be seen at.
Now the Best Cappuccino I had was from Australian Espresso, 37 Ly Tu Trong, Vung Tau. The beans they use are JUREE COFFEE. The first espresso coffee made jointly in Australia and Vietnam with a blend of first class coffees from Vietnam and around the world. The cappuccino come out as I requested very hot and delicious.

Most annoy things I came across on my Holy Grail quest were:
1: Advertising Cappuccino, then find out that they don’ t sell it. 2: Sitting down ordering a Cappuccino only to find out that their machine is broken again and will not be fixed for over a week. 3: Getting a luke warm cup of Cappuccino when requested, a very very very hot one.
