Happy Australia Day MATE

Thursday 26th January, 2017

There’ s no doubt Australia is one of the most remote, fascinating, and highly developed countries in the world. Endowed with a myriad of natural wonders, plenty of wildlife, dazzling beaches, cosmopolitan metropolises, and large expanses of outback, it’ s easy to see why this captivating country is such a complete travel destination. It not only matches every taste, budget, age, or interest, but it also delivers some unique experiences almost impossible to find somewhere else. If you’ re planning a visit to OZ( Australia) it is a good idea to check out the web and get as much information about our Beautiful Country before stepping onto our soil. Australia is the planet’ s sixth largest country. It’ s home to kangaroos, cuddly koala bears and Wolverine. What’ s not to love? Aussies do a lot of things well and one of the best is throwing a barbecue. The Aussie BBQ is a serious tradition, and most parks and public areas have BBQ pits. In fact, I don’ t know what Australia would be without a barbecue. There’ s nothing better than a beautiful warm night, a few cold beers, and some grilled-up kangaroo or emu( most Aussies prefer beef steak & snags) to make you love this place.

Australia Day in the backyard Australia has some great wine regions that include Margaret River near Perth, the Barossa Valley near Adelaide, and the Hunter Valley near Sydney. There’ s a lot of good wine to be tried while in Australia, especially Australian shiraz and pinot noir. You can take day trips to any of the wine areas from the nearby major cities or simply take a trip to the wine store and head to the park for a BBQ.
We asked a few people Aussies in Vietnam, what Australia Day meant to them being so far from home:
Beach BBQ Watermans Park, Perth WA
" We are one, but we are many And from all the lands on earth we come We share a dream and sing with one voice: I am, you are, we are Australian."
