From The Editor
My wife Colleen and I would like to welcome you to the first edition of The Mag: a Vung Tau monthly, provided free of charge to the public. This edition has been some eight months in the production and licensing. After many long hours, late nights and sometimes anguish and apprehension, one has to ask:“ Is it worth it?” The answer is a simple YES! The Mag was the brain child of my lovely wife, and after selling our hotels we decided to embrace the idea and started work. That said, it would never had been possible without the help and encouragement of so many of our good friends and family. We have had many adventures whilst gathering information to write about, and to this end we have included some of those experiences in this edition. We will continue to research and report on this part of the world we have come to call home. With the fantastic support from our advertisers, without which this magazine would never have been published, and the local feedback we receive, we will endeavor to cover more topics of interest, so please email your comments, articles and questions to: feedback @ themagvietnam. com Our on-line version will be available very soon.
