Vung Tau Side Street Restaurants

Hungry ? If you looking for somewhere to eat and using the Internet to find one ,

90 % of restaurants reviewed in Vung Tau are Western Restaurants . Forget the Internet and start walking around the streets , the aroma of the pork chops and chicken cooking on the BBQ will awaken all your 5 major senses ( vision , hearing , smell , taste , and touch .)
There are so many side street Vietnamese restaurants , selling a wonderful array of Vietnamese dishes . These restaurants start the morning at the markets picking up fresh supplies for the day , then start cooking for their clientele . Once all the food is sold on that day it ’ s time to close up shop . A good indication that the restaurant has great food and fresh daily , is locals are eating there ! You will find one of these at 8a Tran Hung Dao , called CƠM : Canh Chua - Cá Kho Tộ . ( RICE : Sour Soup - Braised Fish ) There is no need to know Vietnamese as all you have to do is point to the food you want on display and they will serve it up with rice and vegetables along with a small bowl of cleansing soup ( very tasty ). We ordered 4 dishes , extra rice along with trà đá ( iced tea ) with the cost coming to 40,000vnd ($ 2 ) each . There is no better way to enjoy lunch or dinner . If you haven ’ t got time to sit and enjoy your meal , they will happily do take away ( lấy đi ) for you . On your way home you will undoubtedly pass a number of other ones that may not have even been open when you first ventured out , no stress , take note
