Easy to miss this restaurant , as you may walk past thinking it was just another bar , it isn ’ t ! This is one of the best restaurants I have dined in throughout Vung Tau and I have lived here for many years . You can certainly be forgiven for thinking its just another bar due to the pool table and the bar setup , however they serve extremely tantalising cocktails . The owner “ Tommy ” as he likes to be known as , has spared no expense in training his staff and refitting the restaurant . Enjoy a cocktail or two downstairs before being escorted to your dining table upstairs , already you are feeling comfortable and welcomed , the best is yet to come . The staff have a good command of English and are extremely attentive , the wine list is quite extensive and reasonably priced , the menu has a good variety of Western and Vietnamese dishes . Some friends of ours recommended the restaurant and invited us to a small dinner party . At first I was apprehensive , I still had visions of the old place , they were dismissed as soon as we got out of the cab . We were greeted warmly by the hostess at the door and escorted inside where the manager took over . After another warm greeting we were shown upstairs to join our party

of six . While sipping on cocktails we perused the menu , everyone at the table ordered different selections . Complementary appetisers were served while we were waiting on the entrees . After some wine the entrees arrived and they where superb . With a sufficient interval the main dishes were served and for one of the few times in my experience in Vung Tau , they were all served at the same time to the correct people ! We asked for some extra time to fully enjoy the experience of the culinary delights we had just devoured before the deserts were served and as with the main dishes they were all served at the same time . Tommy runs a tight ship and all the staff from the Manager onwards , are totally committed to service , politeness and punctuality . The menu has a good selection of dishes including imported steaks , French cuisine , seafood , pasta and traditional Vietnamese dishes . The portions are not huge however certainly fulfilling . Last orders for the Chef are at 10pm , the actual establishment doesn ’ t close until everyone has wandered off into the night .. We arrived at around 7pm and to my recollection headed off at around 12-30am it was a memorable experience , one we have repeated numerous times since .
I don ’ t believe you will be disappointed no matter what culinary delight you select .
