Express Yourself - Madonna
Reader’s Anthems this week is slightly different. This issue of Lovely Pink Diva, is about Amazing Women, but also subtitled Express Yourself. That is because there is one word that expresses who we are. I choose, yep you guessed it, “Express Yourself” by Madonna. I know the song is about making a guy express himself to you for love, but it the term itself, “Express Yourself” that is the anthem here.
We need to express ourselves in life, love, and even at work. By expressing who we are is what makes us unique and amazing. When you express yourself, you are not only showing this off, but you are letting your inner diva shine through.
Lately on Facebook, I been seeing many inspirational photos being put on walls, about being true to who you are, and don’t change for someone else. That is so very true. Happiness is achieved by being yourself, and to be yourself you need to express yourself. So Come on girls…yes you know the lyrics admit it!
