I did find my confidence again and was through cooking. The more I did it and shared with people, the more confident I became. In fact to this day, my friends and co-workers claim I am the reason they are fat, they do know it was for a good cause.
After that I started branching out, I knew I had artistic talent, and then I worked on that. I knew I was smart and I loved to learn. So I went to library read books learned new things. The list goes on of the strengths I had. I used them, I grew from them, and I blossomed. I was gaining myself back, stronger and more self-confident than ever.
That is what you have to do, you have to sit down, write a list, what you know you’re good at. Everyone is good at something, not matter what is. Maybe it is giftwrapping presents. I know I cannot gift wrap to save my life, I envy ones that can get straight corners. That ability it is strength to build upon, you could write a tutorial or even shoot a video and post on YouTube.
Everyone is good at something, no matter what.
No matter what your good at, it can help you build your self-confidence, and help you find yourself. You start to feel a pride about you, especially when something people enjoy. If you cannot share with someone your talent live, then maybe start a blog. When you see you have people visiting and commenting on whatever it is you writing about, you'll feel that pride. You will see the Confidence you will get.
So, get the pen and paper out, make the list of what your strengths are. Trust me when I say, it really does wonders, when you do what you know you can do best.
