Thoughts From The Editor...
Can you say you are the same person you were when you were 16? I know I am not. I am not even the same person I was 7 years ago when I first arrived in Cleveland. We evolve, we change. Changes can be a good thing, from small minor changes, like changing your hair color, to huge changes, likes moving to a new city. It happens all the time, every single day. The key to making a change a success, is accepting that change. 7 years ago did I ever thing I would write blogs as a stress relief, no, but I did when I had my food blog. Now I am writing a magazine. I evolved I changed.
Sometimes people can be afraid of change, so they stay in one place. They look sad; they have this aura around them that shows they are stuck and afraid. We have all known or seen someone like this. Change is a risk, but a risk always worth taking. If you fail, then you learn something, so you can evolve and change. If you succeed, the risk has paid off and you can evolve. No matter the outcome, accepting change is always a good thing.
This issue you probably noticed the little butterflies scattered about; I have a reason for that, a caterpillar, knows it must change and evolve into a butterfly. Many consider so beautiful. In order to get that butterfly, the caterpillar has to change. I felt this would be the best little graphic to put throughout this issue this week, to remind us, change is beneficial, especially if you want your inner diva to emerge.
