Do you have a pet peeve about recipe sites?
Yes, I don’t like perfect looking food. Photography is not my strong point and maybe that is why. I want my site to be a reflection of an everyday woman making everyday food for the people she loves and for photos of food to reflect that!
Anything personal you like to share with the readers?
I am the mom of a US Army Soldier (Hooah!), and I often send him care packages full of the ingredients he needs to make his favorite dishes I used to make him! I am passionate about my family and I believe VERY strongly in families eating meals together around a table, discussing, problem solving and communicating!

I love beauty products and pampering myself. I indulge in them probably far too often! It is important to feel like you look your best to make you feel your best! (that is the excuse that keeps working on my husband anyway)
