DJ Shot is a hot , young DJ born and raised in Torrance , California . He ’ s been DJ-ing for 5 years all over the Greater Los Angeles Area , but he credits his rapid ascension to his switch from hip hop to electronic music about 3 years ago . Getting his start DJ-ing high school parties he has since had the opportunities to play at The Avalon , The Belasco , Fox Theater and held residencies in Hollywood . In addition to playing highly regarded venues he has his own strong following , throwing his own event that racked up a total of over 1000 guests .
DJ Shot , like many other true musicians , is open to all kinds of music genres . He lists his favorites as “ Trap , Jazz , Electro , House and Rap ”, quite a wide variety ! He brings his own likes into his sets . He acknowledges that early on in his career he stuck to mostly hip hop , but since he ’ s become more confident as a DJ he has begun to mix it up all the time- capturing his audience ’ s attention for being so versatile . Being a DJ is so in the core of DJ Shot that he spends his free time practicing mixes and mentoring younger DJs . He is definitely one to watch !
