14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

19 We love him, because he first loved us.

20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

If we claim to be spiritual and cannot love, but turn our head and pretend not to see those hurting and in need around us, then the works we do, not motivated by love will fail and when we stand before Jesus Christ in judgement, we will be like those who said Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out devils and in your name do many wonderful works? Jesus will then profess to them depart from me ye workers of iniquity I never knew you. Jesus said not everyone that calls Him Lord will enter into Heaven but those who dill the will of the Father will.

(Matthew 7:20-23)20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Our love for God is not demonstrated by how many wheel chairs we have seen emptied, nor how many blinded eyes we have seen opened or deaf ears unstopped. You may have seen the dead raised and devils cast out, but in all of this our love for God is not demonstrated in our many mighty acts. How then you may ask, Bro. Josh is our love for God demonstrated? It is by keeping Jesus commandments.

(John 14:15) If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Our love for Jesus is demonstrated by keeping His commandments and doing the will of God. If we love truly, and if we are truly born of God we will do the works of Jesus and if we do the works of Jesus then the greater works will follow. It is so sad though to see the group of believers no doubt, turned away from the one they call Lord, because the Lord declared, “I never knew you”. Jesus truly knows our hearts, and if we are sincere and love the truth and love Him, and live the word of God and apply it to our lives, we will do the works of Jesus Christ and be accepted among the beloved. (1 Corinthians 8:3) But if any man love God, the same is known of him. We show him by our willingness to keep His commandments. Have you obeyed Jesus command today to be born again of the water and the Spirit(John 3:5)? Continued next Page.............
