The Looking Glass Volume 35 | Page 3

Letter from the Editor

Dear Readers,

This is Teaneck High School's second year of digital publishing! Last year’s success showed The Looking Glass crew the potential of innovative digital platforms. The transition to this new online platform has opened up exciting, new possibilities to enhance your experience and overall understanding of the selected works. This year we have introduced Poet Reads, a feature that has allowed us to merge the written and the spoken word. In many cases, these student selections were born out of performance, and for the first time you have the opportunity to see these beautiful pieces of work come to life through the voices of their creators.

Therefore, I am delighted to introduce for your viewing (and listening!) pleasure, the 35TH Edition of The Looking Glass, the literary magazine of Teaneck High School. This finished product was a labor of love, with contributions gratefully accepted from the industrious classrooms of Teaneck High, the lively open mics of Speech Club, and the leisure hours of our creative, student body. As Editor-in-Chief, I was honored to review such incredible writing and art and have done my best to present them in their most authentic forms. This volume displays how much skill and expertise exist in the halls of Teaneck High School. We are grateful for your support of the publication and look forward to continued growth and innovation in the years to come.
