Getting answers for the unexplainable:

the things that refuse to explain;

the things that fortify their secrets;

the things that lie about their existence;

the things that are creatures I don’t know.

My heart hungers for the union

of two humans:

one born out of myth,

the other born from water.

Their union will answer

those unexplainable nothings—

and everything.

Her romantic cells

are a malevolent force

that burn holes in her body:

her head,

her arms,

her tongue,

her breast,

her throat—

riddled with holes—

making her a creature I don’t know.
