“No no no, you just don’t get it. I’m not Coraline sweetheart. I’m the doppelganger. Can you not tell when your own best friend is not herself?” She asks, chuckling and clapping her hands together in joy.

Elvira’s heart drops, she quickly grabs the door handle in an attempt to run out the car but realizes the seatbelt is holding her back. She clicks and clicks over and over again but it's just stuck.

“GET ME OUT OF HERE YOU PSYCHO!”

The doppelganger puts her finger on Elvira’s now yellowish lips and says, “Shhhhh, just relax and enjoy the show sweetie,” as she grabs the keys, leaving the car.

Elvira notices that something slipped from the doppelganger's pocket. It’s a small sharp knife. She grabs it and quickly tries to cut herself loose from the seatbelt. She finally gets it off and quietly opens the car door and steps out.

She sees the doppelganger hugging Coraline very tightly and whispering into her ear. “There could only be one of us Coraline.”

The doppelganger reaches into her pocket and realizes the knife isn't there. She drops Coraline and turns back to the car, the knife then goes straight into her stomach, Elvira stabs her! Elvira then quickly tries to help Coraline up, but then finds herself on the ground with the doppelganger’s foot pushed into her stomach. The doppelganger grabs the knife in her own stomach and tears it out, shoving it into Coraline's throat.

“If I’m going down, you’re going down with me sweetheart.” She exclaims.

Those were her last words. The doppelganger then drops to the ground with blood gushing out of her stomach. Elvira jerks the knife out of Coraline’s throat in an attempt to help her, not knowing that it would cause more blood to come out.

Coraline forces her last words, “You tried, I love you Elv-” dropping to the side Coraline never finishes her last sentence.

Elvira is at a loss for words. She’s left standing in the middle of the street, in the middle of the night, on top of two dead bodies, covered in blood with a knife in her hands. She begins hearing sirens, getting closer and closer. Six police cars surround the scene with their guns pointed towards her.

“Put down the weapon and step away from the bodies.”
