We are but ever-changing flowers
We are but ever-changing flowers,
Going through the seasons in which the world devours
People love and people cower
But that never stops the flowers
Blossoming in the sun
We keep our persons true
The character we have,
And the many things well do
Even when alone,
Our petals open up
Revealing something so effortless
And remaining as we grow up
The seems of those dear flowers,
The buds that are undone
Point towards the ball of yellow
That we all call “the sun”
The sun, the light, the shield to all the darkness
Remains inside our stems
And blossoms through the world
In which we all descend
We are but ever-changing flowers,
Going through the seasons in which the world devours
People love and people cower
But that never stops the flowers
