Eyes Full Of

by Mia Arias

When I look at you I see the galaxy.

The outer dimensions breathe and live.

The dark matter surrounds you,

molds you,

births you into the person you are,

to the unappreciated beauty I see.

Flaws grant you a beating heart,

it’s a matter that made you.

The faraway unknown worlds–though unfamiliar–I’m transfixed.

I’m anchored to the floor, willingly not leaving the sight I see.

It’s you.

The creation of the stars, certified by the moonlight.

Born by the dawn, the embodiment of the sunlight.

The planets will line up to see a beauty such as you.

The incarnation of a blue moon, for how rare a sight this is.

How special.
