Its existing products covers a vast range of mortice locks and latches, including British Standard lock cases, which all currently give customers successful fire testing in accordance with BS EN1634-1, enabling them to be used on both 30 and 60-minute fire doors. The G72-7000 range has been extended to offer customers even more options by introducing more din standard backset options-45,50,55,60,65,70,80 and 100mm available. Another newly launched initiative at the show was the development of a new service through its design capabilities. Imperial Locks profiled its new service, demonstrating how its in-house designers are able to take a brief from the customer and turn the idea into a reality. From an idea concept, the company will produce a 3D CAD image for the customer to approve. From this, a prototype can be produced and then full manufacture. This service works for more specific volume and one-off requirements. ‘deliver unique and bespoke products’ Imperial Locks also manufacture the unique anti-ligature range of locks, produced solely for Primera Life. The range has been added to the company’s portfolio in a unique offeri ng for mental health institutes and other similar organisations. The locks and handles are tested to DHF: TS001:2013, featuring the highest level of anti-tamper fixings and designed to minimise the potential of selfharm for patients. Producing all its products in the UK at its engineering and manufacturing facilities in Willenhall in the West Midlands, allows the company to product bespoke and customer specific products.
