exhibits at this year’s Lockex
were offered a shortcut to
the hottest selling security
products. For every way of

By far the stand out feature
of the exhibtion was BurgWächter’s Diplomat safe,
which illustrated its fire proof
credentials by seemingly being
engulfed in a raging inferno!
Whilst a good magician never
reveals their secrets, suffice to
say that all health and safety
requirements were met, ably
demonstrated by stand staff
regularly putting their hands
through the “flames”.

were also on display at Lockex.
These ranges form a key part
of Burg-Wächter’s Safe Centre
Partnership, exclusive to
indpendent locksmiths and
safe dealers. Devised to help
grow safe sales across the UK,
the partnership programme
offers distributors customised
training, POS material and
display units.
In addition to the certified
insurance approved security
and fire safes, Burg-Wächter
showcased a selection of post
boxes in assorted colours and
styles, and a new space-saving
padlock stand concept. The
Company also demonstrated
its innovative smartphone
operated electronic door locking
system, SecuEntry, which will
be coming to the UK following
successful trials in Europe.
Meanwhile, events were
a little cooler but no less
interesting on the Sterling
stand. The brand has always
been known for great quality
and good value security
products. All that’s best in
quality locking products at
great value were on display.
This included an extensive
selection of door locks and
cylinders, padlocks, hasps and
staples, security chains and
cables, along with post boxes,
cash boxes and key cabinets.
