OUTSIDE-IN LOCK TOOLS CAPTURES IMAGINATION AT LOCKEX

AS THE DESIGNERS AND manufacturers of the‘ Letterbox Tool’ and the originators of the

‘ SideWinder’ attachment, Outside-In Lock Tools was excited to be attending the first Lockex show- which the company said had‘ a different atmosphere’ from others where it exhibited. Staff said setting up was very leisurely allowing plenty of time and that Lockex staff were‘ most helpful.’

The company’ s Simon Barber said:“ Many of those that visited the company’ s stand said they had come along specifically to see us and it was a great chance to chat to old customers and learn of their experiences of using our tools. It was also a good opportunity to meet new customers and get their feedback.

“ As usual, there was a lot of interest in our‘ Extreme Letterbox Tool Kit’ and‘ SideWinder Evolution.’ Locksmiths were keen to ask questions, listen to explanations of the advantages of using our

tools, watch our videos and demonstrations and enjoy trying out the tools on our test door. Those that were brave enough to try out the‘ SideWinder Evolution’ on the test door for themselves, commented that it was so much easier, especially when they used our wireless camera, than they had expected.

“ They were also impressed with the speed of assembly of the tool, and its affordability and value. Many specifically commented that our tools were well thought-out, with much attention to detail, stating that the difference was that our tools

originated from our own experiences as Locksmiths and the day-to-day problems we encountered.”

Demonstrations of the correct use of the‘ SideWinder’ and‘ SideWinder Evolution’ captured the Locksmiths’ imagination, opening some of the locks on the test-door in less than 30 seconds, which fascinated members of the security staff and other stand-holders alike.

Simon added:“ Mr. Li of Lishi Tools popped along to our stand, looking intrigued as he examined the‘ SideWinder Evolution’ and‘ Extreme Letterbox Tool Kit,’ grinning broadly and giving us a big thumbs-up as he left. There was also a lot of interest in our‘ V2 Twin-Gauge Curtain Pick’ which turned out to be another bestseller, with its unique features.“ Locksmiths commented on the friendly, and well-laid out venue with plenty of space between stands, and the ease of car parking. Here’ s to 2018!”
