» DEVELOPING A complete range of underfloor safes for the security market in the middle of a pandemic was never going to be easy , along with rising material costs and long lead times . However , with a combined industry knowledge of over 70 years partners Steve Gibson and Neil Coulson took on the challenge to re-design , engineer and manufacture a complete range which is already proving popular with locksmiths and customers alike .

Steve Gibson has vast experience of manufacturing floorsafes with the old Churchill Safes & Security Products Ltd where he was part of their production team , eventually becoming shop Foreman before moving on to Gunnebo UK in 2008 where he became their Area Trade sales Manager for the North of England , Scotland and Ireland .

Neil Coulson is a wellrespected safe engineer who started out with Lewis Security in Jarrow before starting his

own company Crest Safe and Vault and now also produces some of the country ’ s top luxury safes at our base in Sunderland under the Coulson brand .

The premise of the new underfloor safe range was that it had to be engineered and manufactured to a high-quality standard . The combined partnership has proven to be a success in quality , design and appearance in the eye-catching orange and black colours which make it an attractive

display safe . We know underfloor safes are buried in the ground but before that they must look good in the showrooms of locksmiths to attract the attention of potential customers .
