Squire launches Stronghold®
Half Euro padlock bodies
» » SQUIRE HAS INTRODUCED
a new range of Stronghold®
Half Euro body only padlocks
that accept 45mm half euro
cylinders, and they don’t
need any extra modification.
Designed to the highest
specification, these cylinder
operated padlock bodies are
based on Squire’s ultra-high
security Stronghold® range of
CEN graded padlocks.
They are available in two
body widths of 55mm (CEN
grade 4) and 65mm (CEN
grade 5), with open shackle
and long shackle options. Any
manufacturer 45mm half euro
cylinders can be used, but they
require the same CEN grades
as the padlocks to meet CEN
standards.
Padlock features also
include solid hardened steel
lock body, electrophoretic
anti-corrosion finish and
hardened boron alloy steel
shackle. They offer anti-drill
protection and are highly
corrosion resistant with over
400-hours salt spray test,
making them ideal for harsh
environments.
All padlocks come with
Squire’s personal 10-year
guarantee as standard. CEO
John Squire said: “We’re proud
to introduce these very high
specification padlocks using
our Stronghold® range of
CEN grade locks. Locksmiths
can create their own suite
of padlocks using half euro
cylinders. But importantly,
what makes them different is
the padlocks need no extra
modifications, so it’s a quick
and easy process.”
Designed to reflect Squire’s
premium brand status for
‘toughness guaranteed,’
Stronghold® range of Half Euro
padlocks is supported by the
independent crime fighting
charity Crimestoppers.
