blade is graduated in mm and
inches, is accurate to EC Class
II and housed in a tough ABS
case with a positive action
slide lock brake, belt clip and
zeroing end hook.
Historically the short tape
was a design extension of
the ruler, which read left to
right. The short tape evolved
in the same way and ever
since the right handed
user has soldiered along
with a product that was not
designed with ease of use
for a right handed user in
mind. In fact, it is perfectly
designed for the left-handed
user.

Secured by Design (SBD) is the national
police crime prevention initiative which
aims to help people live in a safer society

To qualify for SBD accreditation,

by an independent, third party, UK
Accreditation Service (UKAS) certification
authority. This standard involves initial
testing of products, regular re-testing and
production of audits to ensure standards
are maintained over time as opposed to
being tested once only.
