This system uses a challenge and response pin code system; however, the MVPPro programmer has the ability to overcome the coded protection system, this can take up to four hours but using 1 the Smart Dongle will bypass the coded protection system within just eight minutes. OVERVIEW • Ford Transit Custom 2012- 2016 (V363) With the MVPPro & Smart Dongle. • Transponder Type 4D 63 Carbon 80 bit 80 bit mode The 4D 63 transponders are available in both 40 bit and 80 bit mode. The new transponder must be a 4D 63 80bit transponder locked to the 80 bit mode. If you are unsure you have the correct transponder, read the transponder with any cloning machine and if it says it “can be copied” the transponder is incorrect and will fail to program. All vehicles covered by this application will be fitted with a lazer HU101 blade. 3 SELECT: • Ford • Transit Custom • +2014- >2016 5 4 6 As this is an additional key, select ADD KEY. 7 2 OBD location is driver side lower dash behind the pulldown cover. Battery voltage must be over 12v a battery support unit or jump pack is recommended. Once you gain access to the system the diagnostic menu will display the following: • Clear keys • Add key • Keys programmed • Clear fault codes • Reset With the ignition turned on with the new key to be programmed and the smart dongle connected, the wait time is reduced from up to four hours down to within eight minutes. Once the MVPPro has gained access to the vehicle immobiliser system you will get the on-screen message Detecting key success. Press enter on the MVPPro and back out to the menu screen.
