course designed for locksmiths to take
place on 20th and 21st January at their
unit near Chesterfield in Derbyshire.
“It will be ideal for any locksmith who is
maybe a bit apprehensive about opening
a safe without the specialist knowledge

Technique Safes is an affiliate member
of the MLA and was among exhibitors at
the recent Telford show which they found
very useful in getting their message across
to visitors.
“We qualified for Affiliate MLA
membership because of the services
we provide to locksmiths,” said James,
“and this is obviously an important
accreditation to us.”
‘we can handle
virtually any job’
The business has evolved organically
through the years and today there is
virtually no task they cannot handle.
“We can certainly hold our own against
the big companies in the sector,” said
James, “we have all the right equipment
and wherever necessary, we add to it with
bespoke items. It means we can handle
virtually any job which in turn has meant
we are in demand, particularly for jobs
which present special problems.

“We haven’t yet come across a job that
we couldn’t take on,” said James, “even if it
meant having a bespoke piece of kit made
up. It is what we do – safes and vaults.”
