ZEDBULL UPDATE FROM HICKLEYS
The latest update for the Zedbull has extended the cloning applications still further.
Now it is possible to clone the
Texas 8C transponder mainly
used in Mazda and some Ford
applications says Hickleys.
This new cloning ability is
carried out simply and quickly
without the need of a PC,
Internet, or going to the vehicle.
Hickleys commented: “It is a
simple read and write process
and it is done.”
The transponder used is a Z8C
carbon transponder and fits
any make of aftermarket key
shell. To upgrade your Zedbull
to Clone 8C transponders,
contact Hickleys who will order
the software. A token update
will then get the software on
your unit.
Price £185 Z8C transponders
£10.95.

OVERSEAS NEWS - USA
US thieves targeting pickups with keypad entry
It may seem to be a convenience to pickup owners, but it appears that within
areas of the USA thieves are deliberately
targeting these vehicles as they believe
there’s a strong likelihood that the
owners have left the keys inside the
vehicle.

“They’re punching out the key opening
and then from there they’re taking a
screwdriver and opening the door,” said
Cpl. L’Jean McKneely of Baton Rouge
Police.
Because the transponder key is then
likely to be left inside the vehicle by the
owner, the thief simply needs to locate the
key to disable the immobiliser and drive
away.
