17 . This will then begin to check that the pins are touching the correct points on the board . If any pins are not in the correct place , it will be displayed on the screen and they will need to be adjusted and checked again . Keep repeating until all pins are touching the correct points on the board .
22 . Disconnect the OBP adaptor from the Basic Module , replace it with the BAV Key adaptor and insert key correctly into the coil of the BAV key adaptor . Once complete select ‘ OK ’.
27 . Disconnect all adaptors and any other equipment from the BCM and prepare BCM to be installed back into the vehicle .
23 . This will read the Key and provide the current key ID . Press OK to continue .
24 . Now select an empty key slot for the new remote . This will generate a DFLASH file for the new key to be added to the BCM . Press OK to continue .
28 . Once BCM is connected insert Key into ignition and test the key to make sure it starts the vehicle , also test the unlock , lock and boot buttons on the remote to make sure they are operating correctly .
18 . If the BCM is encrypted it will ask if you want to continue . Select ‘ Continue ’. Press ‘ continue ’ again to begin reading PFlash data .
19 . Once data has been read , save the data file to your PC . ( Take note of the save location )
20 . Once the data is saved ACDP will then start reading the EEPROM / DFLASH , which you have to save as well . ( Take note of the save location )
21 . After both files have been read and saved , the screen will display the available key slots for the vehicle .
25 . Disconnect the BAV key adaptor and reconnect the OBP adaptor to the basic module . Once complete , press continue . This will check the pins again .
26 . Once the pins have been checked it will show the new key in the key slot that was selected earlier . When pressing continue , the new data will be written onto the BCM and the key will be added and ready to use .
29 . Now that the new remote is working , all the trim panels can be put back in vehicle and the job is complete .
