Yale has launched a new range of CE
marked door closers that will retro-fit
many existing closers and cater for all
types of use, from light duty internal
doors to heavy duty external doors.
»»The range consists
of a fixed sized 3 closer, a
template adjustable size 2-4
closer, a variable adjustable
size 2-4 closer and a variable
adjustable size 2-6 closer.
When installed in size 3
application (or above power
size) all closers in the range
are suitable for use on fire
doors, providing a solution
for both residential doors
and social housing.
The Yale 3000 is a fixed
size 3 closer, suitable for
medium duty internal
doors where no adjustment
is required, the 4000
door closer is a template
adjustable size 2-4 and is
can close different sizes
of doors by adjusting the
position of the closer.
The 5000 is a variable
adjustable size 2-4, and
can close different
sizes of doors by
adjusting the spring
tension on the door,
and the 7000 covers
the broadest range of
sizes (from size 2-6).

integrated escape door locking
solution that is suitable for
retrofitting fire doors.
The DC700G-FT CamMotion door closer, lock and
wiring is surface mounted, so
no mortising or rebating of the
doorset is required, enabling
fire doors to be retrofitted
with the electrical locking
mechanism, while retaining
fire door approval.
DC700G-FT is supplied
with a robust mounting plate
allowing existing fixing holes
of the old door closer to be
used when replacing the
body, eliminating the need to
make modifications during
installation.
It also non-handed, enabling
installers to complete jobs
faster.
With thermodynamic
valves to accommodate
temperature fluctuations it is
fully adjustable to allow the
door to be set up for specific
requirements, as well as to
