ABUS Receives
Internationally
Acclaimed
Design Awards
»»The ‘Red Dot’ is one of
the world’s most prestigious
product design awards after
selection from 5,000 products
from some 2000 participants
across 56 countries.
This year ABUS SecurityCentre’s new IP camera series
continued to stand its ground
in the international design
arena. Following an award
from “iF Design Award 2015”

and a special mention in the
“German Design Awards 2015”
the ABUS IP Camera range has
added to its accolades with
the “Red Dot Award: Product
Design 2015”

ABUS’ new IP camera series
is indeed impressive with
five designs, nine models
and unlimited potential
applications. The range of
cameras features full HD
1080p resolution 1920 x 1080
at 25 fps or HD 720p 180 x
720 at 25fps. Available as
either an indoor and outdoor
dome, compact tube and
box cameras, the integrated
mounts and covered cabling
all contribute to these
rigorously functional designs.
The motorised zoom lenses
allow all parameters including
image sharpness to be easily
configured and adapted over
the network, with software that
has also been optimised for
mobile devices.

Pickersgill-Kaye locks receives
worldwide sales enquiries at show
»» Pickersgill-Kaye Ltd’s
ongoing export drive has
been given a major boost,
with the manufacturer of high
security and custodial products
reporting encouraging sales
enquiries from overseas after
displaying its range of locks and
hatches at the Home Office’s
2015 Security & Policing
Exhibition in Farnborough.
The Leeds based
company, which designs and
manufactures all its locks
in the UK, is confident of
securing several orders as
a result of exhibiting at the
security industries’ showcase
event in March, which is
by invite only and attracts
defence and security experts
from across the globe.
Enquiries for its mechanical
and electro-mechanical
custodial, high security
gate and multipoint locking
products were received from
many countries including
the Middle East, Far East and
the Caribbean. There was
also plenty of interest from
government departments
and defence experts closer to
home, says Pickersgill-Kaye.
