Safes and safe servicing Another brand-new course for 2023 , open to both members and non-members and perfect for locksmiths wishing to add safe installation and servicing to their range of services .
We ran the first ( sold out ) course on the 11 March and were delighted to also receive excellent feedback from the full class . We will be re-running the course later in the year .
Created and delivered by renowned safe expert Jon Drake this course offers a great introduction to safes and safes servicing , the different types of safe and their uses , the different types of locking devices and how to recover locked safes and miss set combinations .

The MLA and Neighbourhood Watch
» WE HAVE BEEN WORKING VERY closely with the Neighbourhood Watch to promote the advantages of using an MLA Approved Company to their network . Tied into our campaign to raise consumer awareness of the issue of rogue locksmiths advertising on search engines and the recommendation to “ know who you ’ ll use before you need them ”, we had a full page in the Neighbourhood Watch ’ s e-newsletter that went out to over 800,000 of their members earlier this year . We ’ ve already seen this message filter down to a regional level meaning even more coverage , and we have lots of plans to continue raising awareness to their members .
