Brisant Secure
goes from strength
to strength as
2020 unfolds
British security authority, Brisant, has combined its
locks and handles know-how with the latest in smart
home technology to help safeguard your beloved
property. The average door handle can be removed in
just nine seconds, making valuable items, such as car
keys and personal data, easy pickings for burglars.
» THE FIRM DISTRIBUTES ACROSS
the UK and has expanded its original
offering from one to four distinct ranges
– Sweet, Lock Lock, Ultion and Ultion
Smart. Each superior design has not
only achieved the highest standard
of excellence, the Kitemark 3-star
accreditation, but has been recommended
by locksmiths (Sold Secure Diamond) and
the Police (Secure By Design) alike. In
fact, the Ultion range goes much further
than three star and is, therefore, being
promoted as a 3*PLUS product.
The arrival of the robust range is no
doubt timely for UK homeowners wishing
to safeguard their homes. Because of this,
it seems Brisant, which currently sells in
the region of 600,000 locks per year, is only
going to go from strength to strength as
2020 unfolds.
The Yorkshire-based security hardware
specialists, Brisant Secure were recently
ranked 18th in the Sunday Times Virgin
Atlantic Fast Track 100, an annual
list showcasing Britain’s leading
100 private companies with the
faster-growing sales over the last
three years.
Launched in 2012, following
a harrowing burglary experience,
Brisant has been quick to build upon
its humble beginnings; according to
the league table, the lock and hinge
manufacturer’s latest sales sat at
£8,783,000, posting a 111.27% increase
over three years.
“What separates our
products is designing
them to achieve as
much as possible and not
down to a standard. Whether
it’s doing 1,100,000 lock cycles when only
100,000 are needed, 8000+ weather test
hours when 240 are needed, or having the
only Sold Secure accredited door handle
on the market”, says CEO Nick Dutton.
“We then provide really powerful tools
for our customers to relay this message
to their customers. There is homeowner
demand for the best, and when they
realise how little the cost difference is
between normal and best, they buy it.”
But it’s not just business growth where
its brilliance shines through. The Ultion
Facebook page now has over 18,000
followers and the Ultion website witnesses
over 40,000 unique visitors each month.
Nick continues, “All at Brisant are
incredibly proud of what our effort and
product demand has achieved. Seeing
how demand has continued we’re hopeful
of making it into next year’s list as well.”
