Designed for use with intruder alarm systems, the EX125iS-H has a small footprint, loud 108db sounder and compact steel case. The Exitguard monitors a standard supervised loop contact for alarm and tamper conditions. As well as indicating locally, the alarm tamper and isolation states can be signalled to an intruder alarm panel via two resistor biased outputs. Selectable resistors on board allow for compatibility with intruder panel manufacturers’ systems. A Bleep In Off function can be enabled to provide a local audible and visual indication when the Exitguard is isolated, reducing the likelihood of the Exitguard being left isolated. The Exitguard is pictured showing how a postal trolley in a narrow corridor completely misses the Exitguard box. The keyswitch on the EX125iS-H is situated at the top and the chamfered edges of the stainless steel Exitguard box deflect the trolley as it passes by. This would also be typical of cages used in supermarkets to move goods from storage areas to the shelf. EX125iS-H is the ideal local alarm, solving all types of door security issues and is particularly suited to environments where physical damage may occur.
