Spring cleaning time for locksmiths
Spring is the traditional time for having
a clear-out – and Steve Clarke says that
locksmiths should begin with their
refuelling. Marketing manager for The
Fuelcard People, a Fuel Card Group
company, he insists that it makes sense
for any business using road transport.
‘It could be better’
“Some firms with vans or trucks have
been using the same fuel cards for years,
without ever taking a real look at better
options. Some, unbelievably, are happy
to pay pump prices. For anything else
they buy, from tyres to teabags, they shop
around for bargains. You would think that
they would be equally keen on keeping
down the cost of refuelling.”
So confident is Steve that he has thrown
out a bold challenge to the locksmith
industry: whatever your current deal, it
could be better. “I am absolutely sure that
we will be able to find you a better deal,” he
said. “It is “definitely Spring cleaning” time,
so make a start with your fuel cards.”
