Famous music club gets ABUS security makeover

» PERHAPS THE MOST FAMOUS club in the world , Liverpool ’ s Cavern Club , has had a security makeover with a new suite of Vitesse cylinders from ABUS installed by local locksmith .

The Cavern Club opened in 1957 in Liverpool as a jazz club , later becoming a centre of the rock and roll scene in Liverpool in the early 1960s . The club became synonymous with Merseybeat and regularly played host to the Beatles in their early years . Today the Cavern is a thriving live music destination and one of Liverpool ’ s top tourist attractions . It encompasses three stages across two venues – the Cavern Club and the Cavern Pub . With up to 800,000 visitors a year and many different key holders the security and access control of offices and backstage areas are of vital importance . UMK = A basic master key system is where all cylinder locks are opened by a single key MASTER KEY but each of the cylinders locks are opened by their own key often referred to as the slave , change or differ key . Master key systems can be built bespoke as per requirements from floor plans or site or building walk round surveys .
