13 . Now its time to program the aftermarket key . Go back to the ‘ Add Key ’ menu and select ‘ Program key ’. For this you will need an existing key and a new aftermarket key . The FEM information will be checked again before the next step .
15 . Here you will need to select a free space for the new key to be programmed ( any available slot is okay to use for the new key ). Tick the box to select the slot and press learn to begin the process .
16 . Place the new key on top of the induction coil and press OK .
9 . If the puncture socket isn ’ t connected to the EEPROM correctly you will be shown a Pin status showing poor contacts on each pin which isn ’ t connecting properly . Adjust the puncture socket until the status of all the pins show as ‘ Good pin contact ’. Once you have a good connection press OK .
14 . Place the existing key on top of the induction coil . This will display the key information . Press OK to continue and the Key information will be saved . 17 . This will read the key information and write the data to the FEM .
18 . The programming process is now complete and the FEM will need to be put back together and installed back into the vehicle .
19 . Once it has been installed , test the new remote to ensure it is locking and unlocking the vehicle and is able to start the engine . Once you know it is all working the car is ready to go .
10 . At this point the coding information will start to be read . Once that data has been read it will be saved automatically .
11 . After the coding information has been saved it will then begin to read the EEPROM data and automatically save it once it has been read . The ACDP module will then begin to write data onto the EEPROM .
12 . After the new data has been written onto the EEPROM , ACDP will prepare the FEM for an aftermarket remote to be added to the vehicle . This can take around 5-20 minutes .
