A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO USING DOORSENSE

First, make sure
the door you’re
intending to fit
DoorSense to is
opening and closing
correctly. Check
for any damage
to the door and
remove potential
obstructions
that could stop
it from working
as it should.

Next, close the fire door. Place the
fitting template provided against the
door on the side that shuts against the
door frame. Ensure the fitting template
matches your view of the door.
Mark the position for the holes to
fit DoorSense through the fitting
template, then remove the template.

Using two of the four screws
supplied, fix DoorSense
to the door, using the two
slots in the case. This
will allow DoorSense to
move up and down slightly
for final positioning.

The correct position for
DoorSense should allow
the door to swing freely
with the stopper fully
retracted and then, when
the foot pedal is fully
depressed, the stopper
will be in close proximity
to the floor. This allows
the floor plate to hold the
plunger until it is released.
