UNION exhibits at
the first ever Lockex
UNION, part of ASSA ABLOY Security
Solutions is exhibiting its quality, reliability and
expertise at the first ever Lockex exhibition.

Coventry, from 16th September to 18th
September, UNION will be showcasing its
offering on stand 75, alongside other ASSA
ABLOY brands; Abloy UK, Mul-T-Lock and
Yale.
Visitors to the stand will have the
opportunity to get some hands-on
experience with many of the most popular
products from UNION, including its
StrongBOLT® range.
Known for its superior strength
and exceeding the requirements of
BS3621:2007, the StrongBOLT® British
Standard 5 lever mortice lock fulfils the
security needs of home insurance policies.
UNION’s representatives will also reveal
how locksmiths can benefit from an
extended StrongBOLT® range, allowing
them to save time, without compromising
on quality.

UNION’s Eximo® range has also been
developed in response to customer
feedback and will be on display at the
exhibition. UNION’s Panic Exit Hardware
range includes panic latches and bolts,
emergency push pads, and outside access
products with lever and knob variants.
The one-handed operation of
Codehandle will also provide a
demonstration of UNION’s ability to
combine convenience with access
control.

solutions at Lockex 2016, and inviting
visitors to discuss important current
topics affecting the industry – such as
the introduction of the new £1 coin next
year.
Taking place at the Ricoh Arena,
Coventry, from 16th – 18th September,
Lockex 2016 allows visitors to
experience products and
services from an
array of
renowned industry suppliers all under
one roof.
Visitors to Abloy’s stand 77 will be
able to discuss the locking options and
business opportunities created with a
new £1 coin coming into circulation in
March 2017, and representatives will be
on hand to present Abloy’s solutions to
this issue. These include conversion kits
and replacement locks for lockers, such
as the ‘Classic’ coin lock, E-Lite coin
lock, RFID and Digital solutions.
Abloy will also be showcasing
its range of Super Weather Proof
Padlocks, in which the components are
extremely well protected to ensure
operation in all conditions. Security
is guaranteed even with regular
exposure to extreme heat or cold,
storm-driven salt water or fine desert
dust.
