received a special treat last month and
where invited to attend the very first
UAP Tradelocks ‘Customer and Supplier’
golfing day.
A long anticipated event for the lock
and locksmith tool distributor, the golf day
formed just one of the many events UAP
Tradelocks is looking to hold this year.
Managing director Dave Jennings and
national sales manager, Barry Halpin
hosted the event during the day, which
was held in the picturesque surrounds of
Oulton Hall Hotel in West Yorkshire.
Delegates were greeted at the course’s
clubhouse with a warm welcome, a bacon
butties and a well thought out goodie
bag; complete with tee’s and balls, and
complementary use of the driving range.
UAP Tradelocks hospitality continued
after the match, extending to a free bar
and time to reflect on the winners and
losers of the day’s events.
After dinner awards where then given
to the overall winners – the team from
Performance Doorset Solutions and other
winners for ‘nearest to the pin’ went to Brian
Wood of Alternative Windows and ‘longest
drive’ to Tony Benson from Truly PVC.
UAP Tradelocks is a major contributor
to the locksmith industry, as well as
maintenance and repair markets. They
have invested heavily over the past 12
months in stocking levels, expanding
its range with a £2 million financial
investment.
The business has experienced business
growth of 25% since the investment, which
includes offering customers a next
day delivery on most of its core
line products.
The company offer a range
of well known branded
product lines, alongside its
own branded products. A
recent introduction to the
company’s portfolio was
the Ninja Dark key cutting
machine from Keyline, which
is automatic and simple to use,
taking up minimum work counter space.
UAP Tradelocks is a key sponsor for the
2016 Lockex Exhibition, being organised
by Clearview Group and will be held at the
Ricoh Arena, Coventry in September next
year.
