KEYCUTTING
Lockdecoders declares
war on fakes
Lockdecoders Ltd has announced that it has officially
been empowered by Red Technology of South Korea to
act to protect their interest in the UK and Ireland.
RedT are the manufacturers of the
range of keycutting machines under
the trade name, Miracle and also of
the similar range of Magic engravers.
Lockdecoders is the firm’s principal
export customer and has contributed
heavily to the development of the
keycutting machines.

and facsimile machines being produced
and offered, often with misleading
advertising to fool the buyer into

machines.

Miracle A5.
“The technical system is that they steal
our firmware and software and so copy
most of the tracing and cutting functions.
Since they have no development costs
and do not have any warranties or
provide technical back-up, they can offer
what seem to be startlingly lower prices.
Also, of course, all of the materials are
inferior and cheaper to use.
“Very simply, they are picking our
pockets and deceiving the buyer as well.
They even tell them that WE will give
them technical back-up if they are stuck,
saying: “after all it is the same machine”
