NEW REGIONAL SPECIFICATIONS MANAGER STRENGTHENS IRISH PRESENCE
» ABLOY UK IS DELIGHTED TO announce the appointment of Kevin Birch as its new Regional Specifications Manager in the Republic of Ireland .
Kevin brings a wealth of access solutions experience to the role , having spent over 13 years in the Middle East , working within business development supporting some of the world ’ s biggest companies . After relocating to Ireland , he has worked within access control - both commercially and residentially - for the past two years .
Kevin is keen to develop relationships with new and existing clients within the region and work closely with specifiers and system integrators , educating the Irish market on access control systems , compliance and standards , and Abloy solutions .
Kevin said : “ As the main point of contact for Abloy in Ireland , I ’ m very much looking forward to getting to know our customers and partners and helping to drive the business forward . This is an exciting industry to be in right now with

ZDHF CELEBRATES THE EXPANSION OF ITS TEAM
» DOOR & HARDWARE Federation ( DHF ) has announced the expansion of its marketing and administration departments .
Marketing Manager , Jason Smith joined the federation in September 2022 and has more than 15 years ’ marketing experience in a variety of roles and sectors . Jason ’ s key responsibilities at DHF will be the creation and implementation of the annual marketing strategy to increase revenue through additional membership and increasing the number of delegates attending DHF training courses .
Jason is supported by Amy Hull in her position as Marketing Assistant ; she is primarily responsible for DHF ’ s digital function including adding up-to-date content onto the DHF website and managing the posting on all of the trade association ’ s social media accounts .
In addition to expanding its marketing division , DHF has also added to its administrative team with Dawn Robinson joining as Administrator . Dawn began her role at DHF in June 2022 and has , over a 35-year-period , held a number of administrative roles within the manufacturing and training sectors .
