Hold the Eeprom with tweezers and allow gravity to drop the circuit board from the Eeprom. Now using the soldering iron on the soldering station and desoldering braid carefully clean and remove the excess solder from the pads on the remote board. This prepares the surface so that when the Eeprom is soldered back the electrical connection is strong. 5 6 Use solder to tack the virgin PCF7946 in place then starting on the other side re attach the legs to the remote board using the soldering iron. Use an eye piece or magnifying glass to ensure all legs are soldered and not shorted out. 4 Once the soldering is complete and a new PCF7946A Eeprom has been soldered onto the circuit board place the remote circuit board into the transponder writing slot and select “recycling” on the Zedfull screen, in the sub menu select “refreshing remote”. 8 7 Next select Renault PCF7946, then follow the on screen prompts and select refresh. Once the process is successful you can read the transponder in the Zedfull, the mode will be displayed as Cipher-Manchester. The remote is now ready to be programmed into a different vehicle i.e. Renault Clio 2, Kangoo 2 , Master 2, Traffic 2, Vauxhall Vivaro and Movano. All these vehicle use an ID46 Transponder which is on the remote board so the remote programmes automatically with the transponder. With a new remote costing £50 - £60, the option to refresh a remote can be achieved for as little as £15 therefore leaving up to £35 - £40 profit.
