regulations and recently Lockey Digital door locks have been fire tested in accordance with BS EN 1643-1 : 2014 & BS EN 1363-1:2012 .
Michele explains , “ When used in conjunction with our customised intumescent fire kit pack they can be installed on previously tested single or double leaf fire rated timber door sets to provide 30 or 60-minute integrity performance , without detracting from the overall performance of the digital door set .”
Michelle continues , “ It is the duty of care of our installer customers to ensure regulations are adhered to , therefore it is our duty of care to them to make sure we offer the properly accredited products they need . Testing

began in July last year and we received the certification early this year . I actually went to the testing facilities and watched the tests being carried out , which was a very educational and , although complicated , it all boils down to the door and what it is able to withstand , therefore it is vitally important that the locks or hardware do not compromise the integrity of that .”
Locks tested 2430 , 2435 , 2435K ( key version ), 2430DS ( double sided combi ), 2835 and Lockey Super 8 7055 ( latch models )., which are our most popular lock models .
