its Future Lab.
The initiative studies trends that
influence security in order to predict
the future of the industry. It provides
insights and knowledge in articles

Through collaboration with end-users,
distributors and ASSA ABLOY divisions,
the Future Lab is helping the group’s
product development process to improve
in order to meet changing market
demand.
ASSA ABLOY has globally increased
its R&D investment by 130% and grown
the number of product design engineers
to 1,400 since 2005. This has led to
development of electromechanical
products such as ASSA’s CLIQ Remote
system, which combines traditional
locksmithing with modern information
technology.
CLIQ can improve security for

and complexity.
