AFTER 95 YEARS
A Sheffield locksmith family business
which in 2014 celebrated 95 years
and five generations of service to the
community, is marking the new year with
the launch of an impressive new website.

Sheffield, one of the best-known
locksmiths and safe & security
engineers in the North of England,
is today headed by Peter Harrold,
aged 50, who runs the Shalesmoorbased business with his brother
Tony and sister Diane.
Recalling his earliest lock
experience, Peter said: “When I
was still a teenager, I got called
out to a Hathersage (Derbyshire)
church because they needed a crypt
opening. A family was having a
service in a few days’ time and the
key could not be found.
“They’d dug down six feet, so I
had to go down a ladder and open
it. I just pushed the door open a
little bit and that was as far as I
wanted to go. They asked if I wanted
