Treat
Yourself to
a New Year
present:
A New Renault TrueCode
Module from the 3D Group
Our clever friends over at
KeyProgrammers have just launched a
new software update for their TrueCode
system, says the 3D Group.
For those of you not familiar with the
TrueCode programming system, let us
briefly explain. TrueCode is a PC-based
software system that can be installed onto
any netbook or laptop and connected
to the vehicle using the diagnostic cable
that is supplied with it. It allows you to
program keys and key cards to the vehicle
quickly and easily without the need for
internet access. This makes it not only
convenient for the mobile auto locksmith
but also cost-effective.
The TrueCode programming
system is a one-off initial
payment with no pay per use
token system. You simply
purchase the add-on software
modules for various vehicles as
and when you require them.
KeyProgrammers are constantly
increasing the software modules available,
and their recent offering is the RTC4 (RS4)
software. RTC4 (RS4) is predominantly
for use with Renault vehicles, specifically
the Kangoo II (2008-present), Master III
(2010-present) and the Clio III with card
key system (2005-2012), however it will
also work with the Vauxhall Movano and
Nissan NV400.
The RTC4 (RS4) software will automatically
and quickly determine the PIN code for
these vehicles and allow you to program the
keys or cards to the vehicle.
The Renault Kangoo II and the Renault
Master III are very popular fleet vehicles so
the demand for work on these vehicles is
quite high. This means the software could
pay for itself in just a couple of jobs.
Thankfully this software also programs
the card key system for the Renault Clio
III. This is the hands-free card that looks
similar to the Megane II and Scenic II card
key but the security system used within it
is completely different. KeyProgrammers
believe that there is currently no other
software available that works as accurately
on the Clio III card key.
Originally, this software was not planned
for release until later in 2014; however,
KeyProgrammers has completed its
extensive testing earlier than expected and
have brought the launch date forward. We
at 3D Group think that it is an excellent
piece of kit and one that is well worth the
investment, so why not treat yourself this
New Year and purchase the TrueCode
system with RTC4?
