The ARRONE range of locks and latches contains traditional mortice lock , latches and nightlatches through to the popular mechanical push button locks and digital locks . It also includes mortice bathroom deadbolts and sashlocks , escape locks as well as rim nightlatches and locks .

ARRONE has now extended its range of AR800 mortice locks to include a square , providing a cost-effective

fitting solution for locksmiths on-site who can easily chisel out a square shape within the door . This joins a radius option already in the range that is ideal for large-volume door manufacturers where the cut out is made using CNC machinery .

The new products within the AR800 series include the AR810 euro profile cylinder sashlock case , AR811 latch case , AR813 bathroom lock and AR814 euro profile cylinder nightlatch case , all with adjustable strike plates . To complete the functions , there is the euro profile cylinder AR812 deadlock case supplied with standard strike plate .

They all feature a 60mm backset 8mm lock follower where applicable and are pierced for furniture and / or escutcheons at 38mm . The range is supplied with the timeless satin stainless steel finish to forends and strike plates , making them suitable for use in a wide range of commercial applications from offices to education , healthcare , and many more .

Mortice lock functions

It ’ s important to choose the right lock and latch for the right application .

A sashlock can be used with lever handles or knob

furniture . It has two bolts ; one which is the latch bolt and the other which is a dead bolt . A sashlock has a latch so when the door is shut into the frame it will stay closed , regardless of whether it is locked or not . A deadlock does not have a latch .

Bathroom deadbolts are specifically designed for bathroom doors so are simple to use for all ages . Paired with a lever handle , people can lock the door using a thumb turn .

Nightlatches have slam lock operation . This means it will automatically lock when it closes and requires a key to access from the outside . This makes them ideal for external doors but can also be used to secure internal doors such as storage cupboards or restricted areas in public buildings .
