FrameFit is a fully-tested , high expansion fire and smoke seal for existing fire doors with excessive gaps between the door and frame . This gap must be no more than 4mm for the door perimeter , while the door base gap must be no more than 10mm for fire doors or 3mm for fire and smoke doors . Supplied in kit form in 5.2m long rolls of 1.5mm , 3mm and 5mm thickness for differing gap sizes , FrameFit brings defective , nominal and notional fire doors into compliance quickly and easily on site .
