Love them or hate them , smart locks are a huge growth area in the industry . With Adaptalock here to support smart lock solutions for double glazed doors , some concerns of locksmiths that currently turn away enquiries to install these products , are dealt with .
I , like many Locksmiths , believe that any smart lock installed on a domestic door , should have a key override in case of any kind of failure , for example the battery dying , an issue with the proximity device activating the lock or a malfunction of the lock itself .
