‘ Repair , not replace ’
Protecting people has always been high on our agenda for what we , and SASHSTOP , stand for , but over time we have extended our peoplefocused approach towards a product-based consideration too ! We moved to launch the TORCHGUARD range which has been successful in providing options for locksmiths and UPVC repairers faced with lock mechanism / handle conversions , or fixing up a door after an attack .
» MORE RECENTLY WE PROUDLY launched a UPVC Window De-Glazing Tool ; a handheld tool that allows the window beading to removed really easily , with minimal damage . Predominantly based around the older ‘ Sheerframe ’ window style , it can be used with more modern UPVC windows too , making a repair agent ’ s life that bit easier !
To date , our products share a common factor – the idea that a door , or window system , can be repaired instead of having to be replaced is the premise of why we create new products , and our ‘ Chief of Locksmithing ’, Paul Batty , certainly knows the repair industry , with over 30 years of experience ! He knows the costs involved of replacing a like-forlike door , especially when you ’ ve still got the workings of a pretty mechanicallysound door that would otherwise be scrapped . Following on with the theme of ‘ repair , not replace ’ we have recently launched an alternative version of our 200x200 Weld Repair Plates , this time they are smaller , more versatile in the sense that they may not interfere with existing hinges , but still they can do a job to cover , strengthen and protect when a corner weld has broken and it needs holding , and keeping together .
